With midweek starts (Wednesdays) and comprehensive orientation, this travel assignment is structured to maximize professional and personal growth.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation begins Wednesdays (week 1, 36 hours guaranteed for travelers on 48-hour contracts) On-call rotation: one night per week and every fourth weekend Must be able to respond and be ready to begin a case within 30 minutes when on callKey Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care through pre-op, intra-op, and PACU phases Rotate as circulator, scrub nurse, and post-anesthesia recovery RN Prioritize patient safety with AORN standards and vigilant participation in surgical safety protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, high-quality patient careQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN program Active Vermont or compact RN license Minimum two years of perioperative nursing experience BLS (American Heart Association) Adaptability and strong clinical judgment, with willingness to cross-train Travel nursing here means more than a change of scenery.
