Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Maryville, IL. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active State PTA license required to start the assignment in Illinois. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in outpatient settings required. Experience with musculoskeletal and orthopedic cases preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with therapeutic exercise instruction, gait training, and use of common outpatient equipment such as therapeutic modalities, exercise equipment, and balance/functional training tools. Excellent communication and documentation skills using electronic medical record systems. Prior experience with outpatient EMR systems preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with PTs, aides, and interdisciplinary teams. Prior experience in fast-paced outpatient clinics is preferred.
