Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-PACU Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career in a dynamic perioperative care environment, where your dedication to exceptional patient care will make an immediate impact. This opportunity focuses on post-anesthesia care, and you will collaborate with a skilled clinical team to ensure safe and comfortable recoveries for surgical patients.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable shifts, including some weekends and holidays as needed Full-time, contract position
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent PACU or critical care experience strongly preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required Strong assessment and monitoring skills Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergent situations Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients post-anesthesia for stability and signs of complications Manage pain control, vital signs, and fluid/electrolyte balance Communicate with surgical team members regarding patient status and needs Provide support, education, and reassurance to patients and families throughout recovery Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols at all times Respond promptly to emergencies using critical care skills
