This travel Registered Nurse role in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) offers exceptional professional growth. Schedule/Hours:
Includes one weekend call per assignment period One night on-call shift per week
Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state At least one year of recent PACU experience in an acute care setting BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills Strong interpersonal communication and team collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort Assess, implement, and document post-operative care plans Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition using advanced clinical skills Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff Educate patients and families on post-operative recovery and care instructions
