Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Current RN license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or similar acute care setting. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations and manage multiple priorities. Experience using modern EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities:

Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort. Assess vital signs, levels of consciousness, and pain, providing interventions as necessary. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders. Document nursing care, responses, and changes in patient condition accurately and promptly. Educate patients and family members on post-operative care and discharge instructions. Prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
