Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Pathologist Assistant or in a Laboratory - Pathology Assistant role Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) Ability to handle, dissect, and describe surgical specimens accurately Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform gross examination, dissection, and sampling of surgical pathology specimens Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards Assist with tissue preparation, documentation, and mounting Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to maintain workflow Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality
