This Stepdown Nursing position places you at the center of a top-performing Cardiovascular Unit that cares for over 4,000 cardiology patients annually. You'll gain valuable experience with cutting-edge procedures such as PTCA, stent placements, TAVR, MitraClip, bi-ventricular pacemakers, and post-operative open heart surgery care. The department is also at the forefront of national clinical research trials, offering a dynamic, learning-rich environment. Travel contract, full-time shifts

Qualifications:

Active RN license with recent Stepdown experience Strong clinical judgment in cardiovascular nursing BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred) Experience working with post-op cardiac surgery, CHF, and electrophysiology patients is a plus Commitment to punctual and reliable attendance in accordance with the strict attendance policy

Responsibilities:

Deliver critical care to cardiovascular patients Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage postoperative recovery Communicate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Document and report patient responses and progress Participate in clinical research activities as needed
