Schedule/Hours:

24 hours per week 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active RN license in the state of Michigan or compact licensure Minimum of 1 year recent Stepdown nursing experience Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications required Adaptability to rapidly changing patient needs and interdisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities:

Provide patient-centered care in a Stepdown unit, closely monitoring and managing those transitioning from higher levels of acuity Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced assessments Deliver education and emotional support to patients and their families Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with hospital policies
