Travel Pediatric Intensive Care RN - Clovis, California

Category Nursing - RN-PICU Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) expertise to provide dedicated, compassionate care for pediatric patients in a dynamic hospital environment. Schedule:

Night shifts, 3x11.5 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year recent PICU experience Current BLS and PALS certifications required Strong assessment and clinical skills specific to pediatric critical care Proven ability to work under pressure and in complex care situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in accordance with established protocols Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document care interventions Respond effectively to rapid changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes Educate and support families regarding care plans, treatments, and PICU procedures Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards
