As a travel therapist in our outpatient department, you'll play a vital role in evaluating patients, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and guiding their progression toward independent living. Travel-based assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations; develop and adjust treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and physician direction. Design functional programs to promote effective community reintegration for patients, prioritizing both outcome and safety. Delegate and direct therapy support staff and students, contributing to a collaborative, educational environment. Deliver outstanding care while adhering to all professional codes of conduct, state and federal guidelines, and organizational core values centered on safety and superior service. Accurately document care in compliance with standards, and actively participate in performance improvement initiatives and safety protocols. Mentor students, participate in professional development, and adhere to regulatory, ethical, and licensing requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid and current therapy license in applicable discipline; in good standing with state requirements. Experience working in a hospital or outpatient therapy setting preferred. Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety. Exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
