Responsibilities include:
Provide thorough evaluations of all assigned patients, developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives Modify treatments as needed to support functional progress and facilitate safe return to community activities Delegate and oversee all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth Complete clear, detailed, and timely documentation; maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, and institutional policies Participate actively in student mentorship and professional development initiatives, applying ongoing learning to improve care and outcomes Uphold organizational safety priorities by maintaining a vigilant approach to patient and employee safety, adhering to all safety practices and immediate reporting of hazards Meet all state licensure and continuing education requirements, adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment) Experience in hospital or outpatient physical therapy settings preferred Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care skills Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and professional integrity Effective communication and interpersonal skills
