Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel We are seeking a dedicated physical therapist to deliver exceptional services within a hospital-based outpatient setting. In this contract role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs and physician directives. Your expertise will play a key role in fostering patient recovery and enhancing safe transitions back into daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop effective treatment plans. Implement, assess, and modify therapy interventions to ensure progress toward discharge goals within set timelines. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records, including goal-setting and documentation in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards. Educate patients, families, students, and colleagues on therapy processes, safety, and recovery. Provide guidance and delegate tasks to the therapy team as needed. Prioritize patient and staff safety by adhering to all safety guidelines: safe patient handling, infection control, and maintaining hazard-free workspaces. Collaborate with clinical supervisors to create and pursue individualized professional development plans. Participate in educational opportunities for students and engage in ongoing professional learning and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain active state licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements. Demonstrate and promote the core values of superior quality, respectful teamwork, and accountability.
