Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist license Demonstrated experience in hospital-based physical therapy In-depth understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation practices Ability to design and implement individualized therapy programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams CPR certification preferred Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough assessments of patients with varying diagnoses, developing tailored care plans Deliver direct physical therapy treatments to maximize strength, function, and independence Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation plans Educate patients and their families regarding therapy goals, home exercises, and ongoing care Accurately document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to hospital policy Monitor, evaluate, and adjust therapy strategies based on patient response Stay updated on new therapy research, equipment, and best practices to elevate patient outcomes Benefit from a dynamic clinical environment that prioritizes excellence in patient progress and professional collaboration.
