Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy (PT) in Florida (or eligibility) Prior experience in outpatient or hospital settings preferred Strong clinical reasoning and evaluation skills Commitment to upholding ethical standards and patient/facility confidentiality Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans aligned with physician directives Modify therapy interventions as needed to facilitate timely functional patient outcomes and return to community activities Oversee and delegate therapy services, ensuring quality care and patient safety with a focus on best practices Complete clear, timely documentation and maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines Foster a culture of patient and employee safety, following all procedures for safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard prevention Educate and support patients, families, team members, and students Participate in professional development and continuous learning to advance clinical practice
