As a traveling therapy professional in an outpatient hospital setting, you'll expand your clinical perspective by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and craft individualized treatment plans that promote effective return to community activities. Implement, modify, and document treatment plans in accordance with patient goals, clinical guidelines, and physician directives. Provide direction and delegation for discipline-specific services, ensuring quality therapy for all assigned patients. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues, and actively participate in student training when assigned. Uphold high standards of safety and professionalism, including compliance with facility Codes of Conduct, safety protocols, and documentation standards. Proactively engage in your own professional development, seeking continuing education and new competencies in alignment with organizational and state requirements.Desired Qualifications:
State licensure (or eligibility) for physical therapy. Previous outpatient therapy experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
