This travel position places you at the forefront of outpatient therapy practice within a hospital setting, where you'll engage with a broad patient population. Key Duties:
Evaluate assigned patients and create, implement, and update individualized treatment plans according to evolving needs and physician guidance Direct and delegate discipline-specific therapy services; ensure effective patient transitions back to community activities Serve as a resource and educator for patients, families, colleagues, and students Promote and maintain patient and employee safety, with adherence to safety protocols (including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard reporting) Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility standards Participate in and contribute to clinical education programs and mentor students as assigned Pursue continued professional growth through ongoing education, involvement in professional organizations, and self-development initiatives
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure for physical therapy and compliance with all state and federal continuing education requirements Recent experience in hospital or outpatient physical therapy Strong clinical reasoning and clear, effective documentation skills Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, safety, and professional standards
