Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Set in the inviting rural charm of Ben Wheeler, TX, this travel physical therapy role offers the perfect balance of professional advancement and adventurous exploration. As a travel therapist in a hospital setting, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment that exposes you to a variety of orthopedic and some neurological cases, serving a patient ratio of 1:1 (one patient every 45 minutes). This hands-on experience is a prime opportunity to expand your clinical skill set, collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, and learn new assessment and leadership approaches that will enrich your resume for future advancement.

Thursday:
8AM - 5
PM Friday:
Early close (Make up the hour Monday-Thursday)
Full Time, Day Shift Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred Current LPT license in TX or compact state Current BLS certification (AHA only) Experience in inpatient hospital therapy with focus on orthopedic and neuro cases strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Independently assess and evaluate assigned patients Gather and interpret patient data from charts and interdisciplinary teams Formulate measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals Reassess progress, and adjust plan of care based on patient needs and regulatory protocols Recommend and discuss patient equipment needs with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
