Travel assignment; flexible hoursKey Responsibilities:
Assess and treat assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying targeted, individualized therapy plans. Oversee all discipline-specific therapy services for designated patients, ensuring optimal outcomes. Create functional treatment programs that encourage effective community reintegration. Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Demonstrate and uphold the highest standards of patient and employee safety, actively participating in safety initiatives and protocols (safe patient handling, materials handling, infection prevention, environmental risks). Ensure medical record documentation is timely, compliant, and accurately reflects care delivery. Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, professional codes of conduct, and the organization's values. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, offering feedback and participating in clinic meetings. Take ownership of professional development through ongoing education, self-study, and involvement in relevant organizations.Qualifications:
Valid and active PT license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain). Experience in outpatient or hospital therapy settings preferred.
