Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Step into a vital therapy role within an established hospital setting, focusing on outpatient care for a diverse patient population. As a physical therapist, you'll assess and support patients through comprehensive evaluations, implementing and adapting individualized treatment plans that guide them toward effective discharge and successful community reintegration. Collaboration with physicians and the direction of therapy services ensure that dedicated care leads to optimal outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted PT license Experience in outpatient or hospital therapy services preferred Excellent clinical reasoning and documentation skills Familiarity with compliance and confidentiality standards Team-oriented attitude, adaptability, and commitment to patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
Complete thorough patient assessments and tailor plans that address unique health needs and goals Delegate and direct therapy-specific services while supporting and supervising assigned staff Maintain clear, concise, and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines Foster a culture of safety for both patients and team members, actively identifying and addressing workplace hazards Educate patients, families, and colleagues while embracing opportunities for continuous professional development Uphold standards encompassing personal appearance, punctuality, and attendance in adherence to clinic guidelines Remain current with discipline-specific regulations, codes of conduct, and maintain licensure with required continuing education
