Job Description

This travel assignment is the perfect opportunity to broaden your clinical skills in an inpatient and acute care setting, where you'll work with a variety of patient populations including geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation cases. Schedule/Hours:
8AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday One weekend per month required Holidays as needed
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (required) Active Alabama Physical Therapist license (in good standing) Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification Minimum 2 years' relevant experience preferred (consideration for 18 months with 1 year in specialty) Experience with inpatient acute care highly desirable Ability to float between units as needed
Essential Skills:
Analyze patient data and develop individualized plans of care Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in documentation Physical ability to perform essential tasks including lifting, walking, and frequent movement Professional, cooperative, and dependable attitude
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat a caseload of approximately 6 patients per day Complete comprehensive documentation and meet department requirements Implement therapeutic interventions in collaboration with care team Provide patient and family education
