Qualifications:
Active license to practice Physical Therapy (PT) Hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred Familiarity with therapy assessment tools and documentation standards Strong communication, collaboration, and delegation skills Ability to educate and support patients, families, and caregiver teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patients using formal/informal testing to determine status across multiple systems Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, adjusting as patient needs evolve Submit and update written treatment regimes coordinated with physician guidance Oversee and delegate care responsibilities to PT assistants and aides, including co-signing required orders Educate patients and their support network regarding therapy rationale, modalities, progress, and alternatives
