Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver progressive patient care as part of a collaborative therapy team at a respected hospital outpatient setting. This contract position focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding them through evidence-based interventions to support an effective return to daily activities.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active Physical Therapist license in accordance with state requirements Demonstrated competence in hospital-based or outpatient physical therapy services Ability to design and adjust patient-centered therapy plans, guided by physician direction and patient needs Experience delegating and overseeing therapy services for assigned patients Strong written and verbal communication for educating patients, families, and colleagues Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, insurance guidelines, and relevant regulations Upholds confidentiality, professional integrity, and ethical standards
Schedule:
Contract assignment hours, set within the needs of the hospital outpatient department
Role Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations and create effective treatment goals tailored to each patient Ensure clear, concise, and timely documentation of care, in compliance with medical, legal, and organizational protocols Prioritize the safety of patients and colleagues, including adherence to infection control, safe handling, and incident reporting practices Educate patients, families, and team members as part of a collaborative care approach Contribute to the development and implementation of program improvements Participate in staff development and student programs, fostering a positive learning environment Maintain all continuing education, licensure, and compliance requirements for practice Support clinic standards for appearance and punctual attendance
