Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish comprehensive care plans Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assist patients in using supportive devices Educate, encourage, and involve patients and their families in the rehabilitation process Accurately document goals, treatment progress, and reevaluate as necessary Supervise PTAs in accordance with state and organizational standards Participate in hospital-wide quality and process improvement initiatives Maintain timely and precise record keeping
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor's or Master's accepted for pre-2016 licensure; DPT required for licensure from 2016 onward) Active Physical Therapist license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory care setting Experience in orthopedic physical therapy Proficiency in medical terminology, EMR systems, organization, problem-solving, and patient education Enjoy premium compensation, comprehensive healthcare, and retirement benefits, plus tax-advantaged travel stipends, dedicated travel support, and job security that comes with working with a respected healthcare staffing agency.
