Key Responsibilities:
Complete thorough patient evaluations and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans. Implement, adapt, and document therapy sessions, focusing on returning patients to daily activities. Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards, including confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Lead and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Create a safe environment by following the 10 Foot Circle of Safety, including best practices in patient handling, materials management, and infection prevention. Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers on care programs and best practices. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide constructive feedback. Engage in ongoing professional development, including supervised student training and self-directed learning.
Desired Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered licensure as a Physical Therapist. Previous hospital or outpatient therapy experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to design and modify effective therapy programs. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Commitment to patient safety and professional ethics.
