Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Step into a vital role delivering Physical Therapy services within a dynamic hospital environment supporting patients on their recovery journeys. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your therapeutic expertise where it's most needed, making a direct impact on patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license Previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques Strong communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical demands
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions for patients with varying diagnoses and acuity levels Document patient progress and treatment in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and home safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure cohesive patient-centered care Participate in hospital initiatives focused on quality improvement, safety, and patient satisfaction Contribute to discharge planning and patient transition processes
