Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract position; schedule details discussed during interview In this role, you will deliver top-tier physical therapy care to patients recovering from critical illness and injury. You will assess, develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary team. The ability to adapt your approach, coordinate safe patient handling, and comply with strict safety standards is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete thorough evaluations and design functional therapy programs tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate effective, timely discharges Educate patients, families, and colleagues, serving as a coach and mentor Ensure accurate, timely medical documentation and compliance with guidelines Maintain professional licensure and pursue ongoing professional growth Mentor students and participate in advocacy or community events Uphold core organizational values and safety best practices
Desired Qualifications:
Valid and active physical therapy license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain Previous acute or hospital-based therapy experience preferred Commitment to patient and employee safety, collaborative teamwork, and ethical conduct Excellent clinical reasoning, organizational, and communication skills
