Preferred Qualifications:
Current and valid licensure for therapy practice in the state of Massachusetts. Experience in hospital or outpatient settings, with a focus on physical therapy. Strong clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of current therapy techniques. Demonstrated adherence to professional standards, compliance guidelines, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients, design and implement functional treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals as directed by physicians. Oversee and delegate therapy services to assigned patients and team members. Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessment, goals, medical necessity letters, and charge entry, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinic standards. Foster education among patients, families, students, and staff, and provide a positive learning environment for student clinicians. Commit to ongoing professional development and maintain state-mandated continuing education and licensure. Ensure a safe environment by practicing within established safety guidelines and promptly reporting any concerns.
