Schedule:
8-hour shifts, 7:30 am start, Monday through Friday 1 Saturday shift per month No on-call required Holidays as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts PT license AHA BLS (CPR) certification Membership in APTA and MCAPTA preferred Minimum 2 years as a PT, with at least 1 year in acute care hospital settings Strongly prefer candidates with ICU experience Interpersonal and analytical skills to effectively assess, treat, and educate patients
Key Responsibilities:
Assess inpatients and outpatients for physical and functional impairments Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized or group treatments Foster patient mobility, independence, and function through various therapeutic techniques Support patients in achieving successful transitions to home or work environments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Contribute to student training and participate in ongoing education
