Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in beautiful Redwood City, California, renowned for its vibrant community, mild climate, and easy access to both the Pacific Coast and the bustling Bay Area. This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist to advance their clinical expertise while enjoying all the outdoor adventures, cultural events, and natural beauty the region has to offer. This hospital setting promises dynamic professional growth through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, exposure to cutting-edge therapies, and leadership that promotes ongoing learning. Working in a facility utilizing Cerner EMR and serving a wide acute care patient base—including cardiac, ortho, ICU, oncology, and ventilated patients—will round out your resume, preparing you for the next step in your career.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour shifts: 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm, 9:30am-6pm, or 10:30am-7pm Varying weekdays; possible weekend shifts (with a weekday off in exchange) Schedules are planned in advance for work-life balance Occasional holiday coverage required
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years' acute care PT experience Experience with orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilator-dependent patients Proficiency with diverse adult populations, including cardiac, oncology, and medsurg Active California PT license and BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional inpatient therapy to a range of patient populations (primarily acute care) Collaborate with rehab techs, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals Treat complex cases, including post-op cardiac, ortho, and ICU/vented patients Flexibly adapt to varied assignments and rotating schedules
