Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Step into a vital role delivering high-quality physical therapy in a hospital-based outpatient setting, focusing on patient-centered care and superior results. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, formulate individualized treatment plans, and modify as needed according to patient progress and physician direction. Delegate and oversee therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring all interventions are evidence-based and outcome-focused. Document clinical findings, treatment goals, progress notes, assessments, and charge entries clearly, accurately, and promptly, adhering to regulatory and clinic standards. Prioritize patient and employee safety by following established protocols for handling equipment, infection control, and workplace hazards. Educate patients, families, students, and peers on therapy interventions, home programs, and functional improvement strategies. Maintain discipline-specific licensure and stay current with continuing education and compliance requirements. Support clinical performance improvement initiatives and participate actively in student mentorship or education programs as assigned. Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a current state license in good standing. Proven skills and competency in developing and delivering physical therapy plans in a hospital or outpatient environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement. Strong communication and organizational skills.
