Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Make a significant impact in patient recovery and rehabilitation by delivering high-quality therapy services within a specialized hospital environment. In this role, you will design and modify treatment plans for patients with critical illness and complex rehabilitation needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and advocating for superior clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients, establishing individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans Implement and adjust therapy interventions as clinically indicated, adapting to patient progress and physician direction Foster effective, safe transitions by collaborating with patients, families, and discharge planners, including training on home exercise programs Document all treatments, assessments, and communications clearly and in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Appropriately delegate, direct, and supervise discipline-specific therapy services Cultivate a safe work environment by championing patient and employee safety protocols (e.g., safe patient handling, materials management, infection control) Model professional standards, confidentiality, attendance, and attire requirements Engage in ongoing personal and professional growth, including participation in continuing education and student clinical programs Support and contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with State Practice Act, code of conduct, organizational core values, and all regulatory licensure requirements
Desired Qualifications:
