Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Physical Therapist with assessment and treatment of patients of all ages, from newborns to elders Implement care components, including therapeutic exercises and activities Guide and support patients with stretching, strengthening, and balance training Communicate instructions and therapy updates to patients and families, providing education on at-home techniques Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment Help transport patients to and from the therapy area Perform administrative duties such as scheduling and record-keeping

Qualifications:

Current state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Experience in a hospital-based therapy setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with Physical Therapists and multidisciplinary teams Dedication to patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes
