Requirements & Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1-2 years' recent experience in a pediatric intensive care setting (PICU) BLS and PALS certifications required Strong critical thinking and assessment skills Excellent communication abilities with patients, family, and team members Adaptability to new environments and a proactive, flexible mindset
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Perform accurate assessments and documentation Communicate effectively with families, offering support and education throughout the care process Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, consistently following best practices and hospital protocols
