This travel opportunity places you in a destination renowned for its friendly community, nearby outdoor adventures, and a vibrant mix of cultural experiences. Professionally, this role immerses you in a Level II Trauma pediatric ICU with exposure to a diverse patient mix, innovative technology, and a collaborative teaching hospital environment. Working alongside experienced intensivists, respiratory therapists, and a dedicated multidisciplinary staff, you'll enhance your skills in acute pediatric care, contribute to cutting-edge patient management, and deepen your leadership capabilities.
Schedule/Hours:
7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent nursing care to pediatric patients in a 15-bed PICU Collaborate effectively with intensivists, RTs, and support staff during night shifts Monitor patients using advanced CR monitoring and Meditech/CPN EMR Perform common ICU procedures: IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio, ensuring optimal safety and attention Participate actively in a teaching-focused environment
Desired Qualifications:
Valid RN licensure with at least 1 year of recent acute care PICU experience BLS and PALS certifications (required) CRRT experience, APHON, or prior work in pediatric teaching hospitals (preferred) Ability to work under pressure and prioritize patient-centered care
