Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; schedule to be determined with hiring manager upon offer
Required Skills & Experience:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) Ability to work effectively in high-pressure behavioral health settings Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric patients according to individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor for side effects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and case managers Conduct regular patient assessments and contribute to care plan development Support patients and families through crisis situations, using evidence-based nursing interventions Maintain meticulous documentation to support patient safety and treatment efficacy
