Qualifications:

Current New York RN license (NY License ONLY) American Heart Association BLS Certification (AHA ONLY) Telemetry experience required Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, interviewing patients and relatives to gather case histories Provide individualized nursing care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists and behavioral health teams Administer and monitor reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications Arrange and coordinate additional medical attention and support services Educate clients about emotional health and facilitate understanding and acceptance of necessary treatment Maintain a safe, supportive environment for all patients and staff Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with medical record standards Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, data entry, and ensuring HIPAA compliance Deliver service excellence, promptly responding to patient and visitor needs
