Schedule/Hours:
Day shifts, M-F between 8am-7pm (hours vary weekly) Weekends as needed On-call rotation participation requiredKey Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation therapy per physician and physicist instructions, ensuring exceptional safety and care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Operate advanced radiation equipment following strict quality control and safety measures Document all procedures and observations comprehensively in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Educate patients and families on expected side effects, treatment tools, and ongoing care needs Respond swiftly to adverse reactions, adhering to established protocols for reporting and follow-up Simulate and plan new treatment fields without error; coordinate and communicate treatment schedules with patients Participate in daily equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs promptly Mentor students as an active clinical instructor, evaluating and providing feedback to support professional developmentQualifications & Experience:
Associate's degree (or completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program) Current ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) Certification BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum of 2 years' experience in Radiation Therapy (preferred) Demonstrated ability in patient treatment and simulationBenefits & Perks:
