Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Radiation Therapy. Experience with modern radiotherapy equipment and techniques. Strong attention to detail with commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders. Operate linear accelerators and other radiation equipment safely and accurately. Monitor patient responses, record treatment details, and report concerns to physicians. Educate patients and families regarding treatment processes and answer questions compassionately. Collaborate with oncology care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
