Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program Current licensure or eligibility in North Carolina Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy preferred Adaptability in new environments and commitment to high-quality patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients in accordance with physician instructions Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment Monitor patients' conditions and report changes or concerns to the medical team Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance measures Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
