Travel, full-time assignment

Responsibilities:

Deliver prescribed radiation therapy courses, independently and accurately, using advanced treatment units. Maintain ongoing visual/audible communication with patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort. Execute daily and monthly quality assurance (QA) for linear accelerators (linac) and CT, and perform IGRT, SBRT, and portal imaging. Simulate patients for radiation therapy per department protocols, including the use of IV contrast, respiratory gating, and immobilization device construction. Serve as

Lead CT Therapist:

train other therapists, manage simulations and QA, oversee SBRT simulations, and ensure physician documentation. Maintain and verify all aspects of MOSAIQ for daily treatment and patient management. Follow all departmental policies, adhere to safety standards, maintain emergency preparedness, and report equipment malfunctions. Operate CT on rails for IGRT and maintain comprehensive, accurate records of treatments, prescriptions, and plan changes.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. Previous experience with advanced IGRT, SBRT, and CT simulation procedures. Detail-oriented, organized, and adept in using treatment planning and MOSAIQ systems. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities preferred.
