Certification and license as a Radiation Therapist Experience operating linear accelerators and High Dose Rate (HDR) equipment Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting physician prescriptions for radiation therapy Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdepartmental collaboration Attention to detail and adherence to quality assurance standards Ability to adapt and rotate through various treatment areasRole Responsibilities:
Review patient prescriptions and assess treatment requirements Safely position patients using immobilization devices and prescribed accessories Deliver prescribed ionizing radiation and document all treatments accurately in patient charts Localize and mark treatment sites, and complete ongoing imaging per policy Coordinate daily appointments, transportation, and refer patients for additional services as needed Maintain clean, stocked therapy rooms and perform designated quality assurance checks Participate in student mentorship and training as part of the educational teamBenefits & Travel Perks:
