Role Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Accurately operate radiation equipment and adhere strictly to safety protocols Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses before, during, and after therapy Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care Maintain up-to-date records and facilitate communication between patients and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
Valid Radiation Therapist certification (ARRT or equivalent) Current state licensure to practice in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain Recent experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a hospital or cancer center Strong technical skills with radiation treatment planning systems and devices Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork abilities Adaptable approach and readiness to thrive in a traveling healthcare setting
