Schedule/Hours:

Flexible scheduling: 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, with optimal time off. Weekend rotation required (12-hour shifts); specifics based on assignment. May be required to be on call (overnight weekday or 12-hour weekend shifts), with a 1-hour response time. Holiday coverage applies if scheduled. Up to 7 consecutive days of approved time off. Set schedule cycles, sometimes with minor rotation.

Desired Qualifications:

Active BLS and ARRT certifications. Valid state radiology license. Minimum of 1 year of radiology tech experience (first-time travelers welcome!). C-arm experience, strong proficiency with portables. Willingness to learn O-arm if not already skilled. Attention to detail and adaptability to different units and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform imaging for inpatients (transplant, cardiac, critical care, OR) and outpatients (transplant workups, athletic injuries, ER/trauma, especially stroke and hand trauma). Operate a variety of imaging equipment including C-arm, O-arm, portable X-ray, and Carestream ER systems. Go above and beyond across units, including ER and OR, as part of the hospital float pool. Accurately log exams in EMR (Cerner) and PACS (McKesson/Change Healthcare). Collaborate with supervisors and fellow radiology techs for optimal patient care.
