Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant energy and welcoming community of Hamilton, OH while expanding your skills as a Radiology Technologist in a dynamic travel assignment. This opportunity allows for professional development, as you'll be collaborating with various healthcare teams, mastering the latest technologies, and practicing in a high-acuity surgical setting.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 9:00 pm to 7:30 am
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and document patient clinical history and relevant lab work for diagnostic use. Position, immobilize, and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Apply radiation safety standards to reduce exposure for yourself, patients, and colleagues. Perform radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories, including O-Arm, C-Arm, and CT (training available). Support practitioners in the OR with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques. Verify informed consent and manage pertinent documentation pre- and post-procedure. Administer or prepare medications/contrast under qualified orders. Assess image quality, record patient dose exposure, and operate PACS and EPIC systems as preferred. Foster positive interactions with medical professionals, patients, and families to ensure collaborative care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute ARRT Certification and OH State Rad Tech license (required) BLS certification (must obtain prior to direct patient care) Strong, recent OR experience, with O-Arm and C-Arm proficiency required Experience with EPIC, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems preferred 1+ years in radiation safety and patient care (preferred) Skills in patient-centered care, critical thinking, communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork
