Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Take the next step in your career as a Radiology Technologist, providing exceptional imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside a skilled medical team, using advanced diagnostic equipment to deliver high-quality patient care.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Valid state license for Radiologic Technology Prior experience in an acute care or hospital imaging environment Proficient in performing a range of imaging procedures, including X-rays and fluoroscopy Outstanding attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and quality protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and team members Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout the process Accurately position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of all imaging procedures Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with manufacturer and facility guidelines Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care Uphold patient privacy and comply with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Participate in continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives Enjoy the opportunity to build your experience in a supportive setting, where expertise and commitment to patient care are highly valued.
