Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Nestled in the charming city of Westerville, OH, this travel Radiology Tech assignment offers both personal and professional enrichment. Working as a Rad Tech in a busy imaging department allows you to enhance your clinical expertise in a dynamic environment, see diverse approaches to medical imaging, and work with expert healthcare professionals who bring a variety of perspectives and leadership styles.
Schedule/Hours:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00
AM Desired Skills & Experience:
Current and valid credentials as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT certification preferred) Experience with general radiography equipment and techniques Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care practices Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-demand situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established standards and physician orders Prepare patients for exams, explaining the process and providing reassurance throughout Maintain and operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently Accurately document procedures and update patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimum imaging quality and timely results Adhere to facility protocols, safety policies, and infection control guidelines
