Job Description
Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Bring your expertise to a specialized healthcare environment as an Imaging - Radiology Technologist on a contract basis. This position will allow you to leverage your skills in a dynamic setting that values precision, patient care, and a collaborative approach.
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Radiology Technologist (required; please provide documentation with application) Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in radiology imaging Demonstrated proficiency supporting operating room (OR) procedures Solid understanding of imaging safety, protocol adherence, and quality control Ability to communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary medical teams Strong critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered, with special focus on OR support Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to ensure seamless imaging services during surgeries Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, maintaining patient comfort and safety Operate advanced imaging equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer specifications Routinely assess image quality and ensure accurate identification and documentation in electronic health records Maintain rigorous infection prevention and radiation safety standards Provide clear instructions and support to patients before, during, and after procedures Participate in ongoing quality improvement and training initiatives This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced professionals and make a meaningful difference in patient care through your imaging expertise.
