As a Radiologic Technologist on assignment in Hackensack, you'll be crucial in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in an acute care setting. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Valid registration or certification as a Radiologic Technologist Experience with diagnostic radiographic exams and portable x-ray procedures Ability to modify care to address specific patient needs (age, culture, language) Proficiency with administrative duties such as scheduling, film processing, and record maintenance Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic exams by appropriately positioning patients and operating imaging equipment Ensure radiation safety by using collimators and protective devices Perform portable x-rays in various hospital departments, including ER and OR settings Prepare contrast media and assist physicians during contrast studies Accurately process and label films, maintain records, and coordinate patient appointments Deliver compassionate care, assisting patients with mobility and adapting communication as needed
