Job Description
Overview Registered Nurse — Ambulatory Care in York, Maine. This travel, temporary assignment starts May 25, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,182 to $2,238 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shifts are days, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, with call rotation, in a hospital setting that includes endoscopy and special procedures.

Acute care hospital performing ambulatory/endoscopy and special procedures Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care for endoscopy and other special procedures in an ambulatory/hospital setting Conduct pre-procedure assessments, verify patient history, consent, allergies, and prepare for procedures Monitor patients during procedures; assist with sedation/anesthesia and maintain appropriate airway support as directed Maintain sterile technique, prepare and manage instruments and equipment, and assist the procedural team Post-procedure recovery: monitor vitals, recognize and respond to adverse events, and educate patients on discharge instructions Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team; ensure safety and infection control standards Participate in call rotation and provide appropriate coverage for procedures as required Requirements Active RN license; ability to practice in Maine (or eligibility for Maine licensure) ACLS and BLS (BCLS) certifications current Minimum five (5) years of RN experience 1-2 years of Critical Care and/or Endoscopy experience Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to unit policies and procedures Benefits and Support Dedicated assignment support from a travel nursing partner 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing and onboarding assistance Ongoing clinical and administrative support throughout the assignment Timecard guidance to ensure accurate and timely submissions Potential for extension opportunities based on assignment needs and performance Find more opportunities If you'd like to explore other openings, you can apply for additional opportunities atHealthforce Healthcare LLC:
