Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN license Minimum 2 years of recent cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
Core Responsibilities:
Circulate and scrub on cardiovascular surgical procedures Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Monitor patient condition intraoperatively and respond swiftly to clinical changes Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and hospital protocols Provide compassionate care, patient advocacy, and clear updates to families
